We’ve been busy as little bees in the kitchen this past week. Gramma and Mommy helped us make these yummy, fun, dipped fortune cookies for Valentine’s Day! Follow these easy instructions if you’d like to make some too!

gather your ingredients:

you’ll need:

fortune cookies

dark, semi- sweet or milk chocolate chips

white chocolate chips

Valentine sprinkles

waxed paper

dipcookie

Melt the dark chocolate chips and white chocolate chips in two separate bowls. We used the microwave and heated the chocolate in 15 second bursts, just until melted, to insure the chocolate didn’t burn. Then we stirred up the chocolate and took turns dipping the cookies  and laying them out on waxed paper so the chocolate could set.

waxedpaper

sprinkle

While the chocolate was still warm we added a bunch of sprinkles! Once the cookies are completely cool they’re ready to eat. Store them in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to give away or serve.
