The cuties certainly had a lot of fun making and eating these! This time their auntie Grace was in the kitchen with them. She made the the “noses” out of orange slices! 🙂

gather your ingredients:

You’ll need:

Nutter Butter sandwich cookies

white chocolate or almond bark for coating

mini chocolate chips for “eyes”

orange slice candy or orange gumdrops for “noses”

Make noses by carefully cutting them out of the candy (have an adult do this.)

As you can see, this is a sticky job and we had some recalls… 😉

Melt the white chocolate, in microwave, in 15 second increments…

Stir between each session and cook just long enough so the chocolate is melted…

Allow the chocolate to cool a bit (test it) so it doesn’t burn little fingers.

Once cool enough, immerse Nutter Butters in the chocolate so they’re completely coated.

Allow excess chocolate to drip off cookies before laying them on waxed paper…

Chloe Rae didn’t want to cook. Poor little frustrated chef. She just wanted to get straight to the taste testing part.

Place the orange slice “noses” on the “snowmen”…

followed by the chocolate chip “eyes”…

and, finally, more chocolate chips for the “mouth”…

Great job, Maddie May!

Place all cookies on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet as you make them.

Refrigerate them just until the white chocolate is completely dry and set.

Gently peel them off of the waxed paper.

Finally, time to do a taste test!

Our little taste tester, Chloe Rae, thinks they’re too cute to eat!

Wait…

Nope, guess not. 🙂

Both of the Cuties gave these a thumbs up!

Enjoy!

XOXO,
