What would the holidays be without the classic Green Bean Casserole? Now you can get the same yummy flavors of green bean casserole in a fun cupcake! Kids love helping mom make these and they like eating them too! After all, who can resist a cupcake? 🙂 Make some green bean casserole cupcakes for your next Thanksgiving and/or Christmas gathering! YUM!

gather your ingredients:

~ this recipe makes 16 green bean casserole cupcakes ~

4 cups canned green beans, drained very well

1 ( 10 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup 2% milk

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese + more for sprinkling

1 (2.8 oz.) can French’s Fried Onions, divided

2 tubes Pillsbury Grands refrigerated biscuits

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray 16 standard size muffin tin cups with nonstick cooking spray.

Stir beans, soup, milk, cheese and half of the fried onions together in a big bowl…

When those ingredients are mixed well, set them aside.

Roll each of the 16 biscuits into a 4 inch circle…

Press flattened biscuit into the bottoms, and up the sides, of the prepared muffin tins. Divide green bean mixture among biscuit cups…

Bake cupcakes for 20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. Sprinkle tops of cupcakes with the rest of the onions and a little more cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes, or just until cheese is melted. Allow cupcakes to cool in pans for 5 minutes. Remove from muffin tins and serve immediately.
